Google Assistant is artificial intelligence or virtual assistant developed by Google. This is mainly available on android smartphones and smart home devices. Unlike Google’s previous virtual assistant, it can now engage in two-way conversations. It was launched in May 2016 as part of Google’s messaging app Allo and Google Home. After a period, it appears on the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. It started to be deployed on other Android devices in February 2017. In May 2017, they released the standalone app on the iOS operating system.
The users can interact with the Google Assistant through voice or they can use the keyboard input. It can search the internet, adjust hardware settings, show information from your Google account, schedule events, and alarms, etc. Google also has announced that it can identify objects and collect all the visual information using the device’s camera, and it supports purchasing products and sending money.
How Can You Use Google Assistant?
To check if you can use Google Assistant on your device or not, you have to press and hold the Start button or just say ‘OK Google. If the Google Assistant appears on your screen, that means you are ready to use this feature.
You just have to say the ‘Ok Google’ or press the Start button for more than a second and it will open the Google Assistant. Then, you can start your voice-based queries with Google Assistant.

With the help of Google Assistance, you can easily access any information and quick answers to a wide variety of queries. For example, you can check the time and mathematical calculations.
You can find out item prices, and ask any trivial questions to the Google Assistant.
